TESDA Courses are available in University of San Jose- Recoletos (USJ-R) Recoletos Industrial and Technological Training Center (RITTC) in Basak Campus, Cebu City. I am interested to learn a new skill, so I decided to visit the RITTC office.

I asked a lot of questions related to the Computer Hardware Servicing and Assessment program. Due to my curiosity, I asked for the list of courses offered in USJR RITTC. Luckily, the office attendants were helpful and very attentive in answering my questions. They gave me the brochure.

I decided to post the list of courses from the brochure here and also some of the information I got from the RITTC office. This is for all who were like me, trying to get information online about USJ-R TESDA Courses.

Who can enroll in USJ-R RITTC?

At least high school graduates.

Requirements:

1. NSO Birth Certificate (original)

2. Medical Certificate

3. Barangay Clearance/ Certificate

4. School Certification

High School Graduate; College Level; College Graduate; Post Graduate

5. Good Moral Character

6. Colored Picture with negative (with collar and white background)

10 pcs. = 1x1 (picture size)

10 pcs. = passport size

5 pcs. = 2x2 (picture size)

7. Government Exam Certification

NCEE; NSAT; NCAE; YP4SC Exam Result

Training Fees

I told you that I asked a lot of questions. I asked if the courses are free. The attendant told me that it is free if you avail the PESFA or TWSP Program. I guess they have available application form since the attendant offered me about it but I am not qualified. See if you are qualified for PESFA or TWSP. If you have question or clarifications about the article in the link. You can go back here and I will do my best to help you. I suggest to go directly to their office and maybe you can get a scholarship offer. Try to contact them through the contact details I posted above.

The only choice left for me is to pay for my training. I asked the fees for the following courses:

1. Bookkeeping- Php 5,000 (Philippine Peso)

2. Computer Hardware Servicing- Php 5,000

3. Trainer's Methodology- Php 5,000

Getting Information about TESDA Courses in USJR

This story started when I remembered the word Adelante.

Adelante! An unfamiliar word when I first stepped the University of San Jose- Recoletos (USJ-R) Main Campus in 2006. It was my first year in college. As a pure blood Cebuano and Filipino, Adelante is a new word to me. I am sure it is not English too. Adelante! has been the one word motto to most students since it is short and straightforward.

Adelante is a Spanish word which means forward in English, abante in Cebuano, pasulong in Tagalog. Forward means moving ahead or toward the front, according to the dictionary. It also means,

"moving toward the future or toward a more advanced state or condition."

In my opinion, it means that we need to continue or push through towards our goal in life. Whatever happens, we need to continue moving and doing something to become a better person than the person we were yesterday.

That is my realization for this week. I never knew that our one word motto would be very relevant in my life. So much for the talk, I just realized that maybe I need to learn some new skill.
